Mcliff’s regional office in San Antonio caters to many of the 1.5+ million residents that are employed in the second-most populous city in Texas (7th most in the U.S). Recent history has seen an explosion in population as the city has been one of the fastest-growing in the U.S from 1990 – 2010. Neighbors with the Greater Austin area (80 miles separates the two), make this a hub of technology, business, and culturally diverse regions.
A rich historical background embodies the “vibe” of the region as it was founded in 1691 by the Portuguese priest Saint Anthony of Padua. Five Spanish frontier missions can be found throughout San Antonio including the famous Alamo and San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. And don’t forget the other attractions such as Six Flags, the River Walk, the Alamo Bowl, and the home of the San Antonio Spurs basketball team.
San Antonio is home to numerous facilities of the U.S. military including Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base, and Camp Bullis.
