vending and self-service snacks

When it comes to vending and self-service snacks, Texans know how to indulge. From classic candy and gum to barbecue-inspired treats, there’s something for everyone in the Lone Star State. We’ll take a closer look at some of the most popular snacks that Texans love.

Fair warning – what you are about to read could cause extreme hunger because we are highlighting some of our top-selling market and vending items. So, without further delay, let’s get started!

Top Self-Service Micro Market Items

Our MiMart self-service micro markets are like having a convenience store inside your business. Having a wide selection of food on site has several benefits including increased productivity, fewer opportunities for “crashing,” and overall improved concentration. Here is a sampling of our top sellers:

Drinks

20-Ounce Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper was the clear winner in the drink category. People love the unique flavor of Dr. Pepper that some describe as a combination of cherry, plum, and licorice. There is nothing quite like it, which is why it was our top-selling drink.

Candy

Snickers original candy bar. You can’t go wrong with a classic candy bar. The fact that Snickers bars were the top-selling candy item means that the classics never go out of style. The combination of nougat, chocolate, caramel, and peanuts is still a home run after all these years.

Snacks

Flaming Hot Cheetos. Texans reaffirmed their love affair with spicy food because we sold enough bags of flaming hot Cheetos to make you sweat. If you’ve never tried them, they are spicy enough to clear your sinuses. But what makes them a hit is they aren’t ridiculously spicy, and the flavor of the Cheeto still comes through.

Top Vending Items

Our vending items are listed by location, which gives us insight into what people crave in different areas of Texas. Whatever your employees prefer, Mcliff can ensure you have the right items in stock to keep them happy.

Cold Food Products

In El Paso, the Big AZ Cheeseburger was our most popular item. In San Antonio and Dallas, customers preferred the Bumble Bee Chicken Salad Kit. And in Austin, a long tradition of smoked meats was kept alive with the Johnsonville Spicy Smoked Sausage link being the most popular item.

Gum and Mints

Our gum and mints come in handy for a quick breath freshener or an after-meal treat, and our vending machines make it easy to get your hands on them. Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit was our most popular offering in San Antonio and El Paso. Dallas and Austin also stuck with Wrigley’s but chose the Doublemint flavor.

Pastry

If you forget breakfast or just need a quick pick-me-up, our pastry selections are a great choice. We offer multiple varieties for you to indulge in while you stay productive. Across all our Texas locations, Mrs. Freshly’s Jumbo Honey Bun was the top item sold. We’ve noted that and we will keep these tasty treats well stocked in your vending machines.

We hope that you enjoyed learning about our top self-service and vending items. Our research found that classic snacks and candy items are still a big hit with many of you. We also found that Texans still enjoy spicy foods, barbecue-inspired snacks, and the good old cheeseburger.
